RACHEL BEHAR
Rachel Behar Events was born out of Rachel’s passion for bringing people together. Her love for planning started a long time ago, well before she knew she’d take on city life in the Big Apple. From planning family dinners when she was just eight-years-old to starting an AIDS Awareness Club in high school, you could say it was destiny that led her to start an event planning company. Magic happens when people gather together; this is the motive that drives her.
Rachel comes with more than just a passion for event planning. She is a seasoned professional who has over 11 years of social and corporate experience. Known for her discretion, she has worked with a range of clients, including both private and high-profile individuals. She knows the ins and the outs of the industry, from working for NYC’s leading venues, restaurants, event planners, caterers and hotels. Over the years, she has built a far-reaching network of reliable vendors who are skilled at their craft. She can help you transform raw spaces and private residences into your dream backdrop and turn your visions into your reality.
Life needs to be celebrated. Whether it’s your company’s holiday party, a milestone birthday, or The Big Day, she will provide guidance every step of the way. Staying true to your vision, she’ll ensure everything from brand launches to intimate gatherings turn out beautifully—even better than you imagined.

Rachel has been a planner since the day she was born. Okay, that was the one birthday she didn’t plan! But seriously, with three brothers, someone needed to step in and step up!
She’s what happens when Midwestern charm meets Big City drive. Coming to New York City by way of Michigan, Rachel is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of industry experience.
She hasn't set an alarm clock in years! Rachel has been gifted (or cursed?) with an internal one—and it’s pretty helpful since her job requires her to be the first one in and the last one out!
Her email response rate is record-breaking. She responds to emails practically before they’re sent! You’re going to be impressed.
Her smile is pretty infectious. Well, it’s hard not to smile when you genuinely love what you do and the people you work with!
Rachel was once employee #34 at Rent the Runway and the role taught her the deep importance of customer service. Those learnings are at the heart of how RBE is run today.
She mentors parents of preemies. After experiencing it firsthand, Rachel felt compelled to help new parents navigate this challenging time.
In her past life, Rachel studied pre-med at Indiana University. Growing up with a family full of doctors, the dinner table conversations were always centered around helping people.
She lives with her family in Brooklyn. The Behar family includes her husband Alp, her baby Rio, and her fur baby Abx.
